Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for strategic Restaurant and QSR clients, accountable for all related activities and contractual commitments with assigned accounts.

  • Identify, develop, and foster relationships with key stakeholders and C-Suite Executives at existing and prospective clients.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for Visa’s activities with assigned accounts in conjunction with all key external and internal stakeholders.

  • Deepen engagement with assigned accounts through cross-sell of Visa products and services where appropriate including Tap to Pay, Visa Direct, Tokenization, fraud solutions, Loyalty & Offers solutions, among others.

  • Represent clients’ interests and needs internally within Visa which requires a thorough understanding of the clients’ objectives, strategies and key initiatives, underlying business philosophy, financial model, and key players.

  • Lead, initiate and successfully execute complex, strategic contractual agreements spanning multiple solution sets across Visa’s ecosystem.

  • Proactively identify and assess key market and industry trends to demonstrate Restaurant and QSR industry thought leadership and innovation, while being able to develop customized go-to-market strategies to capitalize on emerging customer and market trends.

  • Be accountable for financial reporting, budget commitment tracking and performance metric reporting, utilizing Visa’s CRM reporting tool where appropriate.

  • Responsible for updating Visa leadership on all account activities and performance through regular reporting and communications, including executive briefing documents, etc.

  • Collaborate with key internal Visa partners, including, but not limited to, Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, Analytics, Visa Acceptance Solutions, Financial Institution Sales, and Merchant Sales on all applicable initiatives.

  • Actively lead various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned.


This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • 15+ years of business experience with related sales and client management experience.
  • Extensive payments industry experience, knowledge of financial controls and legal impacts of contract management.
  • Restaurant and QSR, consulting, client management or loyalty management experience desired.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management with proven ability to interact with C- level executives within client organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external cross functional relationships.
  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements and aptitude to develop new business partnerships.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisions for a major segment.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high levels of success and achievement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Hours:
Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146500 to 238000 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
